Hey, everyone! My name is Danielle. I am currently a sophmore at St. John's University and the Co-Vice President of Kappa Delta Pi - Kappa Eta Chapter. I am in the five-year childhood education/literacy program with a concentration in psychology. I am a full time student taking 18 credits, currently, but I am also a full time teacher's assistant at a preschool.
So far, I have enjoyed my time at this university and I am grateful for and I value the education that I am receiving in STJ's School of Education. It is truely a family, and I'm glad to say that I am a part of it.
A little about myself; I am very organized. I plan everything! My goal after graduation is to become an elementary school teacher and within ten years of teaching in a public school, I want to open up a preschool while continuing to work in the elementary school setting. I love both age groups, so why should I have to choose?!
I hope that throughout my career I will be able to impact the lives of children in a positive way. I want to be the force that drives them to be the best they can be. I feel very strongly that I will be able to do this through the education I'm receiving at St. John's University and through the help of KDP members. I am very motivated and determined to be successful.
